SpeedRead: Train Your Focus

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SpeedRead: Train Your Focus (“SpeedRead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using SpeedRead, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
SpeedRead is a personal reading and productivity app that helps users read faster using RSVP-based tools and related features.
You may use SpeedRead only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Accounts
To use the main app, you must create an account.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the security of your account
Providing accurate information
All activity that occurs under your account
3. Free and Pro Features
SpeedRead offers both free and paid features.
Free Features:
- Free users may access built-in reading content and core reading tools.
SpeedRead Pro Features:
- Paid subscribers may access Pro features, which currently include:
Uploading personal documents
Text extraction from uploaded documents
Reading uploaded documents
Bookmark functionality
Feature availability may change over time.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
SpeedRead Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s App Store.
Current plans may include:
Monthly subscription [$4.99/month]
Yearly subscription [$39.99/year]
Prices and billing terms are shown in the app and on the App Store before purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
We do not directly process payment cards. Payments are handled by Apple.
5. User Content and Uploaded Files
You may upload files for your own private reading use.
You represent and warrant that:
You own the uploaded content, or
You have the legal right or permission to use it
You must not upload content that:
Infringes copyright or other rights
Is unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent
Is intended to exploit or overload the service
Uploads are private and are not publicly shared with other users.
6. No Monitoring Obligation
SpeedRead does not actively monitor, screen, or review private user-uploaded files. However, we reserve the right to investigate abuse, respond to legal requests, and enforce these Terms.
7. Copyright Complaints
If you believe your copyrighted material has been used improperly in connection with SpeedRead, contact:
We may investigate and remove offending material or suspend repeat infringers where appropriate.
8. Repeat Infringer Policy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights or other laws.
9. Account Deletion and Termination
You may delete your account from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
You violate these Terms
You abuse the service
You attempt to bypass subscription or usage controls
We are required to do so by law
10. Disclaimer
SpeedRead is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation.
We do not guarantee that all files will extract successfully, especially if they are scanned, corrupted, protected, or unsupported.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeedRead and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SpeedRead and its operator from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
Your uploaded content
Your misuse of the service
Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
13. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SpeedRead after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the individual developer operating SpeedRead, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
